The RO quiz for Christmas 2006 was a challenging fund raiser in aid of the work of two charities, one British and one Romanian, helping the very poor in Romania, whose international country code happens to be RO.

All costs, including prizes, were sponsored by Cleaford Services Ltd, so 100% of entry fees were used for the very poor. The proceeds of the quiz were divided between

The Children’s Hospital in Brasov, Romania
Work with very poor communities in the Brasov area, in association with The FAST Charity.

Meanwhile, although the quiz is over, we continue with lots of work to do in Romania. Our current largest project is The Better Home Project, helping with new homes to replace miserable hovels in the villages near Brasov.
